Pulp & Paper Merit Badge

I took scouts from two local troops on a tour of the Paper Mill and Converting plants for their Pulp & Paper Merit Badge.   We reviewed the process from the forest to finished product.

Boulder River Campout

Hiked approximately 4.0 miles to the first camp site along the Boulder River.  Rain threatened and the trail was muddy in spots, but over-all was a fairly dry weekend.

Ape Cave Trip - Mt. St. Helens

Ft. Casey

Scouts went to Ft. Casey with the new Scouts for a day trip.   While exploring the battery, Scouts also conducted community service by cleaning up the entire Fort.   We also retired the tattered flags and put up new ones.
